Part One: 8 Read the following hypothetical: Len entered into an oral contract with Jenny to buy a horse and an English saddle for $400. Len promised to pay for the horse and saddle when Jenny delivered them to him at her farm. When, as agreed, he appeared with the money on Wednesday, Jenny brought the horse but not the saddle (the saddle had been left in her father's truck; and her father, in order to pick up feed for the rest of the horses, was en route to another town). Len paid Jenny the $400, took the horse, and said he would return on Thursday to pick up the saddle.
