POST 1 -

Since I work in billing, the last day of each month is the most important day for us. We have to work later, and ensure that all invoices get approved by the end of the day. One specific time, our customer was under a turnaround and they completed it the last day of the month. I had more invoices in my inbox than I could have ever imagined, and it was the last day of the month. I was stressed, but knew I would and could get them all done, while still ensuring they were accurate. I accomplished this task, and later was recognized at my work for working well under pressure as well as applauded for my hard work. I could tell my work was appreciated and it encouraged me to continue to do better.

POST 2 -

On one case, I found myself facing an imminent deadline to draft an answer to a lawsuit involving the Residential Construction Liability Act where the homeowner (our client) was being sued by a contractor. This was an unfamiliar area of law for me and I had never dealt with issues like this before. With less than a week to meet the filing deadline by the time we received the case, I dove headfirst into research, and dissecting legal precedents to present the draft to my attorney. The pressure was intense, but determination fueled my every move. Despite my lack of experience, I managed to draft a robust response, incorporating all required affirmative defenses. The victorious outcome not only secured a favorable resolution but also instilled newfound confidence in my abilities. This triumph taught me the value of perseverance, adaptability, and resourcefulness, paving the way for future success in uncharted territories.
