Part One:

Creating a Summary Memo based on my week four case study analysis that I've conducted from the following case study that I have chosen. Therefore, I have chosen "Case Scenario 2" which states the following:

The staff members at Smiley Hospital are assigned to specific patient age groups and their responsibilities differ across the unit. The staff has been complaining that their evaluations do not accurately measure their responsibilities and that they are being measured on performance outcomes they cannot control. Morale is low because they believe their work is not being recognized or distributed fairly (leadership/ethical issue). The directors at Smiley Hospital have been challenged with developing a new way to fairly assign and assess individual performances according to their various job descriptions.

Then the following solutions were proposed in the Week 4 Problem Analysis Worksheet are:

*Solution number one should have healthcare workers learn to develop a new evaluation system that accurately measures and evaluates how individual performances work according to various job descriptions/skills.

*Solution number two is how staff members should be able to provide additional hands-on training. In the facility/organization and support all staff members to improve their skills and knowledge in healthcare.

*Finally, solution number three should be an urgent need to establish a system where regular feedback and professional communication between staff members and directors is appropriately managed.

Part Two:

Must provide a summary memo explaining why my solutions will be effective in resolving the change/conflict, how I would propose to implement the solution, and the role as a leader to manage conflict and create an effective work environment. (Analysis: Considerations) In as much detail as possible, analyze what needs to be considered when implementing the proposed solution. Be specific and use examples. Provide citations to support your statements where applicable.

(Analysis: Leadership Style) In as much detail as possible, state the leadership style that best fits the situation. Analyze why you think it will be the best style. Use examples to help you convey meaning. Provide citations to support your statements where applicable.

(Analysis: Leadership's Role - Management Conflict) In as much detail as possible, discuss your role as leader and how you manage conflict. Be specific and utilize examples. Provide citations to support your statements where applicable.

(Leader's Role - Creating Effective Work Group) In as much detail as possible, explain the leader's role in creating an effective work group when implementing the proposed solution. Be specific and utilize examples. Provide citations to support your statements where applicable.

(Conclusion)

A conclusion is an important part of the paper; it provides closure for the reader while reminding the reader of the contents and importance of the paper. For most course papers, it is usually one paragraph that simply and succinctly restates the main ideas and arguments, pulling everything together to help clarify the opinion of the paper. Remember that a conclusion does not introduce new ideas. It is used to clarify the intent and importance of the paper.
