Part One:

Swift, Inc., a small start-up company, has hired you as a consultant to assess their financial systems and related processes. During the review, you realized an accountant is responsible for providing general ledger access to others in the company. This includes processing transactions in the general ledger and printing checks. The company's president must authorize write-offs in their system. This should not be a concern, however, the accountant has access to the presidents username and password.

As part of your review, the president has requested that you create segregation of duties for the organization. For part one of this assignment, create a segregation of duties for the accounting department. Include specific processes and who would oversee the process and what control should be implemented to prevent any type of fraud.
