PASIG RIVER EXPRESSWAY (PAREX)

San Miguel Corporation proposes the construction of the Pasig River Expressway to ease heavy traffic in the metro. It runs along Pasig River and stretches 19 kilometers starting from Radial Road 10 in Tondo, Manila and ends in Circumferential Road 6 (C-6) in Taytay, Rizal. Several groups are opposing the subject as it will bring negative impact to the entirety of Pasig River and also to heritage sites in Manila area.
