There has been plenty of times when I have dealt with situations were the theory of constraints (TOC) could have come into place. Whenever we have a issue at work everyone would wait till i get there to tell me what was going on. It could have been a clogged toilet, scanner equipment not working, lights out at the building or even pest issues. When I clocked in for work I would have several notes on my desk or email stating some problems that we are facing. I would normally call each vendor and have to wait a couple of hours or days for them to come and fix the issue. Instead of waiting for me to get to work and call in the problem. We now have a system called Service Channel to submit our problems and we are able to state if it is an emergency 2 hours, 24 hours or schedule with station. Not only does Service Channel allow us to choose the importance of service, but we have several different options
