Personal growth/knowledge that I have endured throughout this sustainability course is learning not only the definition of sustainability but how it is used in or everyday lives. I never realized companies went out of their way to prove to people the ways they sustain the environment within their production. Sustainability is everywhere. I learned how much waste I go through that could be simply changed in the most positive way to save the planet. Sustainable steps that resonated with me the most is being more involved in the environmental cause to make sure my community has equal opportunities. I am looking forward to possibly getting myself to get more involved in meetings that my city hold that involve changes that require votes. With the knowledge I gained from this course, I truly believe I can influence social justice principles.
