Perum Perhutani Perum Perhutani is a state-owned enterprise that was formed to manage forest resources on the islands of Java and Madura which also supports the natural tourism industry sector. Perum Perhutani manages 185 natural tourism locations spread across the island of Java, in the form of several recreational tours of forests, beaches, waterfalls, lakes, craters and caves that have a lot of history in the war era. A total of 12 objects are managed by the Tourism and Agribusiness Business Division, the rest are under the management of the Regional Division as part of sustainable forest management. The conditions and developments of tourism objects on the island of West Java are very diverse, both in terms of potential, tourism that can be developed, infrastructure support, facilities that have been built, market access and opportunities that can be developed in the future. Apart from the timber business, Perhutani also gets a decent income from tourism, as obtained by Perhutani Unit Ill, West Java and Banten. In 2011 they earned Rp.42 billion (2010: Rp.15 billion) of which Rp.34 billion was obtained from 8 leading tourist attractions. Perum Perhutani has the following missions: 1. Development of the Perhutani Management System (SMPHT) to improve product quality and service quality 2. Implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to improve marketing performance and relationship with services 3. Implementation of Integrated Competency Based Human Resources Management (ICBHRM) in human resource management to achieve the target of excellent service quality according to the needs and direction of the managed business 4. Making information technology (IT) a supporter of independent business development 5. Empowering integrated partnerships to ensure adequate supply of raw materials in both quantity and quality as well as being able to move the people's economy through the empowerment of tourism businesses and environmental services & agribusiness
