Peter has been enjoying a few drinks at home when he hears a commotion in the attached garage. He races to the garage through a door in his hallway and sees a figure dressed in black rummaging through one of his tool boxes. Peter grabs a large wrench, sneaks up behind the figure and hits him over the head with it. Whilst on the floor Peter is not taking any chances and hits the figure a further 5 times on the head. Unknown to Peter the figure is actually Dale, who is a police officer who has intelligence (and a warrant) stating that stolen contraband is being kept at a garage at 32 Davenham Crescent. Peter lives at 32 Davenport Crescent, Dale has made a mistake. However at the time Dale was wearing his uniform with high visibility stripes and writing stating "POLICE" on the front and back. Peter states he honestly believed Dale was a burglar.
