Peter Neistat is an expert on solar energy having obtained his doctorate from a prestigious university in USA. He has a new concept of generating solar power. He gets his three best friends Michael, Brian and Daniel to set up a company to raise funds from the public to help develop the products.

Peter as the technical expert prepares a written report to be included in the prospectus which highlights the benefits of the new technology. Based on his statements in the report the public subscribe for shares in the new company.

Six months later one of the investors who also happens to be a solar expert tried to verify the expert data of Peter and found that the statements and the testing were fraudulent and had in fact not been done.
