The Jurisdiction that I have selected is New York.

The court that I selected is the Supreme Court that is within 9th District of the state of New York. The 9th District contains the following: Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland & Westchester Counties

The Supreme Court from Rockland County will carry a different opinion and be of a persuasive authority to Baltimore County's Circuit Court due to the fact that they are from different states and different jurisdictions. Although both have trial courts, they do not have the same State Constitutions. This leads me to understand that, although they may have similar opinions in the factual and legal level, they are not mandatory authorities for each other's jurisdictions.
