pick an operational problem that is detracting from you, or your system's performance and then apply DMAIC Kaizen principles in collaboration

The idea is to take something and apply "Green Belt" style principles to an actual problem. This tends to be very open-ended in the sense that the problems, as long as they are operational in nature, are for you to choose as long as it lends itself to defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling. Examples I have seen range from this student's coffee shop problem, to a student seeking to "lean" out their life by reducing their personal excess inventory in their garage, to a marketing executive's effort to eliminate process flow waste in their campaign projects. Students have applied DMAIC Kaizen to big work problems, like supply chains at Sprouts to onboarding at GA. For this go please:
