I want you to go to their website (use Google to find it) or organizations from http://www.nonprofitlist.org/Links to an external site., locate their mission statement by hunting around the site, copy and paste it into your posting (or retype it), and then critique it against these measures:

1. Who (describe the people) does the mission statement imply that the organization serves?
2. Does the mission convey a problem statement and means of attacking the problem that would appeal to potential donors?
3. How clearly does the mission convey what the organization is about? If you were a staff member, would you understand what you were striving to achieve? Is it too long/too short?
4. Highlight a paragraph/ a line from Chapter 2 that you find the most relevant for your choice of non profit and post a brief (one sentence) note describing why.
