Please address the following issue, companies like Nike and Apple usually sub offshore their manufacturing products to overseas company Apple in China and Nike in Central America. Often , these manufacturing places are accused of mistreating their workers and having horrible living conditions. Apple and Nike claimed that they put pressure on these companies to improve their factories , yet, it is not their operations and can only exercise so much control. Do you think companies like Apple and Nike can and should do more to improve the lives of these workers or they can only do so much and have a bigger responsibility to the shareholders of Apple and Nike?
