"Human resources (HR) is the division of a business that is charged with finding, recruiting, screening, and training job applicants. It also administers employee benefit programs"(Kenton, 2023). I believe there is more to Human Resources than just hiring and firing people. Their job consist of opening up job postings, hiring, orientation and training, employee compensation and benefits, background checks, and firing people.

Effective human resource management includes creating a work friendly environment that brings satisfaction to it's workers. According to Kenton, long-term goals of human resource management focuses on creating a more positive, loyal, and productive workforce, which ultimately benefits the company (Kenton, 2023). Most importantly, maintaining positive employee relations with employees will help a business run well. That comes to show employees that their job cares for them and values their opinion or even they know that HR is there for a reason and that is to help and listen.
