Getting to know each other is important.It helps us establish trust but it also can make group work fun. This can be done in a few different ways.

A.In your first meeting, share your individual responses to the following questions⁽²⁾:

1.What are your most important goals?

2.How do you like to communicate?

3.What energizes you?

4.What frustrates you?

5.How can we best work together?

The first 4 questions aren't about team work.This is about life in general!

B.Use ice breakers at the start of each virtual meeting.Here's my top 5 favourites:

1.If you could have any super power what would it be? Elastic Girl? Superman?

2.Everybody loves a good fortune cookie!What's the best one you've ever received? Haven't received a great one, make your own fortune cookie message!

3.If you won $25 million dollars, what would you do with the money?

4.What is the most interesting food you've even eaten? Scorpions on a stick anyone?

5."Two truths and a lie".Each member of the group shares two truths and one lie about themselves. Refer to your hobbies, interests and past experiences.
