In this study, student is expected to discuss the impact of capital structure on the earning capacity of the selected companies listed in Bursa Malaysia Securities Market. The aim of the study is to identify the effects of the capital structure on the operating profit and the earnings per share of companies in Malaysia. On the other hand, the student is will discuss the trade-off theory in the lights of the capital structure decision making of the public listed Malaysian companies. Detail discussion of the factors that affect the capital structure decision making is required in order to analyze the profitability of the companies under review. Student is to make discussion on the debt and the equity capital of the companies to analyze the profitability of the companies researched by William, (2020).
