Please critique my written arguments for each side in Griswold v Connecticut

Griswold's Argument

Appellants argue that the Connecticut law violates the right to privacy by infringing on a married couple's privacy.The right to privacy is a right not specifically mentioned in the Bill of Rights.However, the 9th Amendment was written in an effort to cover rights not expressed in other Amendments.Additionally, a loose constructionists' interpretation of several Amendments clearly supports the U.S. Constitution's protection of a right to privacy.Consequently, the U.S. Constitution protects a married couple's right to receive advice and counsel regarding contraceptives, despite Connecticut's restriction on such.

State of Connecticut's Argument

The Framers would have included the right to privacy among the other rights they felt were of high importance such as the right to bear arms, the right to peacefully assemble, the right to due process, and others.A new and unintended right should not be created by one lawsuit.To establish a new Amendment stipulating a right to privacy, the process should follow the guidelines laid out in the U.S. Constitution.Additionally, if Connecticut wishes to make a privacy law in their state, it is within their state's right to do so.
