Prepare a monthly cash budget for January to March 2021

You are assisting the management accountant of Pout Ltd to prepare the company's year 2021 budget. Pout Ltd sells outdoor sports clothing to credit customers mostly the young generation (a) (b) Pout Ltd customers pay for their clothing two months after the month in which the goods were invoiced, Pout Ltd purchases clothing one month in advance of sales and pays for its purchases three months after the month in which the goods were received Pout Ltd purchase costs are 25% lower than its selling prices. (c) (d) Distribution costs are 4% of sales and are paid one month in arrears. (e) e Wages and salaries are currently budgeted at Rs25,000 per month. There will be a 10% increase in wages and salaries from 1 February 2021 Pout Ltd budgeted overheads are Rs95,000 per month of which Rs55,000 per month is depreciation. Overheads are paid as they fall due. (1) (g) (h) Corporate tax of Rs32,000 is to be paid on 16th February 2021 The lease on Pout Lid's offices is to be renewed on 1st March 2021 at a cost of Rs 100,000 Budgeted sales are as follows: Month Nov.
