Q.2 An engine works on the Otto cycle. The initial pressure(P) and temperature(T) of the air are 1 bar and 303 K. 210 kJ of heat is supplied at the end of the compression. The total volume is 0.45m. The P is 11 bar at the end of the compression stroke. Determine: a) P, T and V at each point in the cycle b) Clearance volume in percentage c) Air standard efficiency d) Net work per cycle d) Mean effective pressure e) Power developed by the engine at 210 r.p.m. Assume the cycle is reversible and air as a working medium. C, and y are 0.715 kJ/kg K and 1.4. (10 Marks)
