SITHFA5002 - Provide responsible service of alcohol Practical Assessment Guidance Notes In this practical assessment, you will be required to submit to your trainer for marking, a minimum of 3 videos lasting no longer than 1 minute each. We have provided 6 videos, comprising an introductory video explaining the context of your 'role play' as part of your practical assessment, together with 5 examples to guide you in your presentation. Task 1 - Demonstrate procedure to refuse sale or service of alcohol and assist each of the following groups of customers who who are approaching intoxication ['Early signs of approaching intoxication'); A) those in emotional or physical distress (Upset I Crying! Anger) B) those with no food consumption during extended service of alcohol [2 hours) (2) those who appear to be showing early signs of approaching intoxication from a drug 'other than alcohol' being prescription ('Valium', 'Panadeine Forte') or illicit substances (e.g. cannabis, cocaine, Ice) Task 2 - Demonstrate organisational or house requirements and use effective communication and conict- resolution skills when asking the following different intoxicated customers to leave the premises. 0) one compliant customer (Accepts your decision to leave, does not want to cause trouble and wants to come back again} E) one difficult customer refusing to leave the venue (does not accept your decision and refuses to leave) See examples in the points below and the table overleaf, containing key items and words that your trainer will be expecting to hear in your video submissions.
