Each group is required to complete an essay for the SAMA project on the topic of Financial awareness. The students will examine the idea of 'risk management' as applied to individuals or households from the following asepcts: 1. Identify three financial activities at an individual or household level. 2. Point out at least one potential risks involved with each of the day-to-day finance activities identified in point 1 ( e.g., building around the concepts of 'time value of money' and 'risk and return') 3. Illustrate methods to manage those risks in daily life. This will draw on aspects such as the importance of financial planning/ budgeting and accessible information about financial products that can help them to lower the risk (e.g. insurance) or make investments (e.g. real estate, stocks or debts). 4. Identify key organisations, financial institutions, or bureaus that are designed to protect individual's interests and maintain the stability of the financial market in KSA" Assignment Regulations: q This essay has a world limit of 1,500 words. q The essay accounts for 20% of the module result. q Each essay should include a cover sheet stating: Module code Module name Student names and DCU student numbers Group number Lecturer name Submission date q Include a cover letter, table of contents and page numbers. q Please use reference, images and graphs to enhance the overall presentation of your essay q Soft copy and hard copy of project must be submitted by 8.00am on Sunday 17th April 2016.
