1) You are to infuse heparin 25000 U in 250 mL NS at 10.6 mL/hr. What is the concentration of heparin solution? When you clear the pump you note that 67 mL have been infused. How much heparin has been given? Show your work.

2) A client weighs 154 lbs and is 5 feet 4 inches. What is the clients BSA? Use the formula to determine the BSA. Show your work.

3) You just opened a 500-mL bottle of guaifenesin and will be giving 1 tablespoon per dose. How many doses are in the bottle? In other words how many tablespoons are in 500 mL?
