1. With incentives in mind, why do some people engage activitiessuch as gambling, smoking, drug use, drinking alcohol, eating processed food, and/or promiscuous sex when such activities are generally associatedwith a higher risk of poverty, poor mental and physical health, and even death? Should policymakers in government doanything about these high-risk behaviors? What, if anything, couldpolicymakers do to incentivizepeople to not engage in theses behaviors?

2. What responsibility do individuals in the United States have to the rest of the world and to future generations in terms of staving off global warming?In other words, what type of economic sacrifice, if any,should the people of the US make to curb global warming?

Should we allow developing countries to pollute more, or should we hold these countries to the same standards?
