- Transgender guys, in my opinion, should be permitted to participate against biological women on any level of the game, regardless of the sport. Transgender guys will not have an advantage over biological women if they are allowed to compete in the same events as biological women, hence this should not be a cause to restrict them from doing so. The law should not set constraint on this, nor should it create a boundary under discrimination law to prevent transgender men from competing against biological women. Both of these things should be avoided. Regardless of a person's gender identity, they should be able to compete in any sport of their choosing. This right should be extended to everyone. In addition, transgender athletes who engage in sports ought to be honored for their bravery and heroism rather than being the target of discrimination. At the same time, it is essential to make certain that transgender athletes are not provided with any unfair advantages in competitive sports and that there is level playing field in these types of contests. This can be accomplished by the adoption of equitable and all-encompassing laws that are intended to guarantee that all athletes, irrespective of their gender identification, are competing on an equal playing field. In the end, it is essential to respect the rights of transgender athletes and to give them the same possibilities that are available to other athletes. Making it possible for transgender guys to compete against biological women is a significant step in the right direction, and it should have everyone's unwavering backing.

- After reviewing sources and doing more research I think that transgender women should not be allowed to compete against biological woman and the other way around. Although the number of transgender athletes that this argument involves is not high and doesn't leave the biggest impact, I think it is important to have level playing fields when it comes to these sports. I feel like there could be some sort of medium met where if someone were to go through the transgender process before a certain age they would be able to still play in the other genders sport. It is hard to say that there should be a line drawn in discrimination but in this scenario, I feel like it is more of a common sense rule that is fair at the end of the day. Like I mentioned, I know the number of athletes this effects wouldn't create a quake, but when college records are being demolished by these transgender athletes you can only think to be in the shoes of someone swimming against someone like Lia Thomas and wonder how unfair it would feel. Statically speaking, if you look at all of the world records of swimming competitions and compare the men's and women's times, the men are factually and statically faster than woman. Due to the clear laying facts and common sense I would have to argue that it should not be allowed unless there were the correct limitations with age possibly.
