  • Create a graph summarizing the families as the independent variable, and the number of individuals as the dependent variable. Again, how you choose to display this data is up to you (i.e., frequency, averages, total counts).
  • A rank abundance graph (as described above).
  • A graph displaying any trends in color preference, or the number of individuals found in each color pan. Remember, you have three colors of pans (so each should be on one graph). You will need to determine which is your independent/dependent variable and determine how you want to display the number of individuals (frequency, averages, total counts).
  • will also need to calculate the Shannon's Index AND the Simpson's Index using the class data.
