Thinking he may be able to convince Russ Zamacho to sell the car for less, Jake walked onto the lot of Zamacho Auto, found a beautiful black Tesla, and stated to Russ: "if you promise to hold this car, I will pay you $40,000 for it." Russ thought about it for moment and said, "these cars are hot, I will sell it to you for $45,000 only." Jake grabbed a shank out of his pocket, held it up and said, "I think you should reconsider." Russ, in complete fear, dropped the keys to the car and ran away. Jake grabbed the keys to the Tesla and drove off.
