Uisa is looking to have her landscaping redone at her home, She contacts Allcare Lawn Company to give an estimate. A representative from Allcare. shows up and telis Lisa to remove all the old bushes and rocks, and to dig down to plant all new bushes and install brick pavers around the flower beds will be $8500. Lisa agrees and pays Allcare 50% down for them to start working and buying materials. Lisa is excited since she has to leave town for a week and is looking forward to returning to see the new landscaping. Alicare begins working on tisa's landscaping as scheduled, and while they are removing the bushes - they notice a large pool of water below ground. As they continue working, they realize that an old water pipe for the sprinkler system was very old and was leaking for a long time before they started working on the landscaping. They immediately called Lisa, but she was not answering her phone, The leaking sprinkler pipe was an issue because it was to the point of causing more damage to the home, and Allcare was unable to teplant the new bushes until the leaking pipe was replaced. Allcare decided to dig a larger hole in order to remove the broken pipe, replace the pipe section, and awoid further damage for Lisa's home and sprinkler system. Allcare telis tisa whien she returns of the necessary sprinkler pipe repair and requests an additional 5800 from Lisa for their labor and parts. tisat Slys stre is not obligated to pay the seco since she never taked to them about it or approved such repair. Allcare ss now in a positiop where they did the work to help, and are now stuck since Lisa will not agree to pay. 1. What legal arguments can be made for Alcare to recerve payment from Lisa? think of the contract theories that apply to this situation for both sides 2. Whit legul arguments can be made on behalf of tisa to avoid the ssoo bill or chulenge the amount and piry less
