The theory of evolution on cognition is based on many factors mainly based on the theory of evolution proposed by Charles Darwin that humans are constantly evolving as a survival method. Humans evolve to survive the challenges proposed in life. Where there are challenges, there are problems to be solved. Our mind tends to correlate certain things, problems, people object to different things we are familiar with to fully process the things around us. We use the information we already know to find solutions to what we don't already know. Our cognition evolves according to the environment in which we live in. Our environment influences how we perceive our surroundings and what our mind will make of it. The Culture in which we live also has a lot to do with how we will perceive the world around us and what will seem normal in our society. Our perspective of the world may seem different to others, it's just a matter of where you come from. Our social standards might be different from other cultures. What seems normal in one country might not seem normal in another country. How much communication goes on around us also has a lot to do with how much we can change over time the more we retain wisdom throughout our lives the more mature we will become as we get older. As we become more aware of our surroundings, our perspectives and perception changes towards the world around us, our emotions can also change due to changes in our environment or depending on what is influencing our emotions. I mostly closely relate to divergent thinking because I do not believe that there is one right answer to everything. I use divergent thinking when I am constantly trying to search for solutions, and I am very good at analyzing a problem. I also tend to try to be open-minded about everything and I don't believe that there is one right or wrong answer to everything. Although if you have a very close correlation between certain experiences, people, or things, then there is a possibility or tendency for people to have an inclination to something you are already familiar with which is where the term schema comes to mind.
