Cashier: Hi ma'am, how are you doing today?
Customer: I'm good, thanks for asking.
(Cashier begins to ring up items)
Cashier: Did you find everything you were looking for?
Customer: Almost. The milk I was looking for wasn't stocked, but it looked like they were stocking the refrigerator now. And I couldn't find Matzah Ball Soup mix or Gefilte Fish. I know not every store carries those but I sworn I've seen it here before.
Cashier: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
(Cashier continues to scan items. Items roll to end of counter, but there is no bagger so items just start piling up. Customer slides over and starts bagging her own groceries)
(Cashier scans the last item)
Cashier: Ok ma'am, your total today is $82.14.
Customer: Oh wait, I have a coupon for the bread.
Cashier: Ok, let me see it and I'll scan it. Ok, your new total is $81.14. You saved a dollar.
(Customer inserts debit card and transaction goes through. Receipt prints)
Cashier: Here is your receipt ma'am. Have a Merry Christmas!
(Customer leaves with groceries).
