First, find an example of unbecoming conduct in youth amateur sports. Summarize in paragraphs the incident/behavior AND cite the original source material(s).

According to this article by Daily Collegian "Freshman wrestler Cary Kolat has been suspended indefinitely by Coach John Fritz following an alcohol-related incident on campus early Sunday morning". Kolat was found on the curb by university police drunk and passed out; and later charged with public drunkeness. Kolt was 5th in the nation and had a record of 12-3 for the top-ranked lions. Kolat was allows to continue practicing with the team but was suspended from further competitions.

Provide the content of and a link to the Code of Conduct utilized by the governing body of this sport organization directing the behavior of coaches, parents, or general spectators.

Wrestlers operate under the standards and regulations provided by the NCAA as can be references here: https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/championships/resources/common/rtc/2020-21MWR_RTCguidelines.pdf

These guidlines indicate behaviors on and off the mats. Rules for conduct demponstrated during championships and all aspects of competition are covered thoroughly for all participating bodies from athletes to spectators.

Next, discuss the applicable areas of the code of conduct that were violated.

The unbecoming behavior of the athlete was a break of personal and profesional ethics as well as a violation of the code of conduct and governing laws, s put by the author "The officer then cited Kolat for public drunkenness, University police said. A public drunkenness charge is a summary offense, much like a traffic ticket. Punishment is limited to a $300 fine or 90 days in jail, or both"

How should this organization enforce their code of conduct - i.e., what should the repercussions be? If there is any information on how it was enforced, discuss that at well (e.g., bans, suspensions, etc.)

The organization decided for a just punishment on the athlete's case stating "Fritz said he would consider reinstatement for Kolat when he deems it appropriate, adding that "a penalty must be served for such unbecoming conduct."

What ethical dilemmas might be involved in enforcing this code of conduct?

Ethical dilemnas can incluse the offense taken by athletes to be managed with such viscosity; however, there is a high level of exellence demanded by any athletic program aiming to produce high quality players and reputation. The author states "...We are determined to deal severely with conduct that fails to reflect the high personal standards to which we hold our wrestlers as individuals and athletes."

In running your own sport organization, how would you handle this situation? Would it be any different than it was handled here (if you found any information on that aspect of the situation).

I would handle this situation exactly as the management in the school's progrwm handled it. I believe this was taken care of effectively without causing permanant damage to the athlete's career.
