1. Go to the USPTO website ( www.uspto.gov) and select the following links in this order: patent, patent process, search for patents, USPTO full text and image database, and advanced search. Here you can construct whatever search terms you want to use to see what patents exist that have those terms. Use the terms internet and music and distribution, and once you get the search results, select one of the patents and describe patent number you selected, who the inventors were, and what that patent generally covers. Do you think it is a good idea to allow individuals and businesses to get exclusive rights to music distribution over the internet, when the internet was initially created by the government and was supposed to be freely useable by everyone?
