Employee skill sets are a great internal force that affects HR. An organization will always want to be successful and see growth. Employees not having the proper skill sets to reach that goal can be a major setback in this organizational goal. ABC Corporation has a great objective for their company to succeed, it is to implement new technologies to streamline various processes. "Today, innovation is everything, regardless of the industry. Everyone is continually looking to the next big technological advancement to improve their lives. The skills gap poses a significant threat to innovation by limiting the availability of skilled workers who can contribute fresh ideas and perspectives. Organizations that lack the necessary expertise may struggle to adapt to new technologies and market trends, hindering their ability to remain competitive" (Cracking the code: Explaining the skills gap and its impact on careers). As an HR representative, the suggestion for such gaps to be corrected would be proper training. The employees should properly complete training on the new technology systems that will be brought on. Ensuring employees have the proper training before using the systems will help the company not have major setbacks and have a higher opportunity to succeed. "Employee training is beneficial to both organizations and employees. Approximately 94 percent of employees say they would stay with an organization if it invested more in learning [1]. Employee training can help improve company culture, increase productivity, and support workplace safety. But that's just the beginning" (Employee training: What it is and why it's important).
