PLEASE RESPOND TO THE POST

Something I can remember when I was younger me and my other siblings calling my middle brother gay all because he liketo get his nails painted and like to wear my mother high heel shoes when we played church. Every time we got in an argument or fight, we called him gay. I did not know what it really meant until I got older, and I just started saying it because my older siblings were saying it. This was memorable because we all stereotyped him because he like to do things girls did which was not right for us to do. I see as I got older how people use to treat him and how hestayed into fights because of someone calling him gay because of the way he acted. This has taught me not to stereotype someone because of what they like to do or wear and treat others the way you want to be treated. I say no to the raised to conform gender stereotype. I think it was something we did out of anger not knowing what we were doing. This moment helped me because as I got older and realize there are people in the world who are not only straight but gay and bi as well. You should never judge anyone because of what they choose to do or wear. I would be anger if someone stereotyped or missed treated me because of something I chose. I think everyone has a way of how they want to raise their children. I do explain to my child what is meant for boy's and what is meant for girl's. Even with me explaining the differences to my children, if it is meant for them to be gay or bi then so be it. I do not think people chooses if they want to be straight, gay, or bi they are born that way. You are going to be whoever God is meant for you to be no matter what.
