In the flowsheet below you have a combination of a reheat cycle and a regenerative cycle. There are three feedwater preheaters. A and B are closed foodwater prebeaters, while C is an open feedwater preheater. All turbines and pumps are adiabatis- a) Fill in the missing pressures in the Table on page 2(P4,P9,P16, and P16). b) Determine the quality of Stream 16. You may use values given in Table on page 2 . c) Turbines III and IV are 85% efficient. Using information provided in the Table on poge 3. calculate the work produced by Turbine III (in kJ/kg ). Provide the numbers used for interpolation (if used). d) For Stream 12, at the given T and P in Table on page 2 use calculations to verify the value of H12=926.3kJ/kg given in the Table on page 2 . e) Determine the stream 2 /stream I mass flow ratio using the energy balance around the feedwater preheater A. You may use values from Table on Page 2
