Experiment: A researcher wants to see if people who take pre-workout before going to the gym have a better and more intense workout. The researcher gathered a group of people and got half the participants to drink 1 scoop of pre-workout powder with 8 oz of water 20 minutes before exercising. The other half of the participants were asked to drink 8 oz of water only 20 minutes before working out. The researcher then collected and evaluated the results from both groups of participants in order to determine whether drinking pre-workout made the participants have a better and more intense workout.
