Term 2 Project Project Task: A checking account is not only a convenience but also a necessity for keeping your cash safe. Before opening a checking account, you should shop around at various banks and ask questions. Assume that you have just started working and you need to open up a checking account at a bank, Use the Internet or visit a bank to find answers to these questions: 1. How much is required for an initial deposit? 2. Does the account require a minimum balance? If so, how much? 3. If the account balance drops below the minimum required, will there be a charge? If so, how much? 4. Are checks free, or must pay for them? 5. Are there any extra service charges with this account? 6. Does this account pay interest? If so, what is the current rate? 7. Do you offer special checking accounts to students at a minimal or no cost? Repeat 1-7 again for 2 other banks (make sure you researched about 3 main banks) Make sure that at the end you present to me: 1) A 3-5-page report where you include: A title page. (Include any name you want as the research topic ex: Shopping for a Checking Account, a logo or symbol that represents your project idea, names of the team in the project, the date, teachers name) An introduction. Introduce and give a brief summary about the banks you chose. Why you chose those banks, what made you consider them as options to open your checking account? Make sure you include an intro for the 3 or more banks you chose. A body. Here I need you to be very organized. Answer the 7 questions in a paragraph for bank 1 first, then do the same for bank 2 and 3 and so on. Have a paragraph for each bank and make sure you answer all the questions and feel free to add any extra information related to the topic that affected your decision. A conclusion. Conclude your report by creating a table where you include a brief answer (yes or no) for all the 7 questions beside each bank to compare the 3 banks. Make sure you do analysis as a team in this part of the report. (Tell me what pattern you see, which bank seems more reasonable for you to choose, and why? Explain your answers clearly; I need to understand why these factors affected your decision. What criteria out of the 7 affected you the most) and conclude your report by choosing one bank that you will open your future bank account. Here each team member can include one paragraph if you didn't agree on one bank and thus have different choices between the 3 banks. I did a preview for you below of how the table should look like . . . Bank 2: ADCB Bank 3: SCB 2000 3000 Questions Bank 1: NBD 1)How much is 1000 initial deposit? 2)Does it need a No, minimum...?
