1. You are an assistant merchandiser for Maggie's Organics. Your boss provides you with last year's assortment plans. Your task is to use last year's information to complete the assortment plan template and fill in the Tab labeled " unit 4 " provided below.

You must take styles from suppliers A and B and put them into one assortment plan to come up with a total of 8 items. You need to rank the items in order of importance from 1-8. The style titled Dianne is listed in the one spot, so technically you now only need 7 more styles from A & B but the Dianne style might not be your number one, you decide. There are more than eight styles listed on the assortment plan so you will not use all of the items listed in suppliers A and B you choose which ones you want to use. Then come up with a plan for X Store following the same thought process from A & B.

Using the FOB costs (COG) provided on Maggie's Assortment plan, identify your wholesale MU (you decide) then develop your wholesale cost an MSRP, and retail MU for each item and complete the assortment plan. Why did you choose those markups?

Summarize:

• identify who you think the target market for Maggie's Organic + rationale for markup selected
• Final Assortment plan after plugging in your numbers using the Assortment Plan template (tab unit 4) provided in the attachments.
