Question 4 (Business Protection (Insurance)). In January 2019, Jack, who has heart and lung problems, purchased 2 insurance. One is fire insurance of his office building where he nominated himself as the beneficiary and the second one is life insurance where he nominated his son as the beneficiary. He had been paying the insurance premium for both insurances, without fail. In January 2020, Jack's office building was destroyed due to a fire. The insurance company refused to compensate as they stated that there is no 'insurable interest' between Jack and his office building. For the life insurance purchased, he did not disclose the fact that he has heart and lung problems. In May 2020, his entire family was infected with Covid-19 but unfortunately, he passed away due to his existing co-morbid condition. Now, the insurance company chose not to compensate his son because Jack had not notified that he has heart and lung problems. Using the principles of insurance and decision of previous cases, discuss both issues separately and explain whether the insurance company has the obligation to pay compensation
