Please use the following case study for Assignment 1, applying the DMF to the main character Karim

Karim is a recent university graduate, who works for Company A as a Junior Accountant. Karim reports to Helena, his line manager, and Helena reports directly to the company's CEO, Jad.

Karim is primarily responsible for preparing the monthly cash flow report for Company A. Karim has completed 3 reports so far (November 2022, December 2022, and January 2023), and although he remains relatively inexperienced, he is confident that he has a good grasp on how to complete the cash flow report.

Karim is now working on the cash flow report for February 2023. Karim notices that the expenses of the Information Technology (IT) team have risen dramatically in January 2023. Karim raises the issue to Helena, who tells Karim not to worry about it and simply complete the report. However, since Karim feels responsible for the report, he goes directly to the IT team leader, Nour, to question Nour about the expenses. Nour became upset about the questioning from Karim, and Nour complains about this directly to the CEO, Jad. Jad comes to Karim to speak to him privately, and explains to Karim that he had approved new laptops for all the IT team (6 laptops in total), and this is why the expenses are high for the IT team for January 2023. Jad thanks Karim for his diligence, however, directs Karim to go through his manager, Helena, for any future issues that arise.

Karim has almost finished the cash flow report for February 2023, but noticed something strange. Jad had told Karim that 6 new laptops had been purchased for the IT team, however, the cash flow expenses show that 7 new laptops were purchased. Karim also noticed something else. When Helena came to work one week ago, she bought with her a laptop bag. From the bag, she pulled out her normal work laptop, but there was also a second laptop in the bag which she tried to keep hidden. Karim found this strange, as everyone in the office is allowed to take home their work laptops for personal use so no one in the office buys a second laptop. Karim also knows that Helena and Nour are long-time personal friends, and Karim starts wondering why Helena deterred him from questioning the IT team about the laptops to begin with.

The February 2023 cash flow report is due in one week, what should Karim do in this situation? Analyze the case using the DMF as described.
