1- Please explain the two formulas inside Kant's Categorical Imperative.

2- What makes the Categorical Imperative special?

3- Apply Kant's moral philosophy to a moment in your life where you behaved wrong/immoral.

4- How can these two formulas make you realize you behaved wrong?

Also please analyze the following case:

I once did something that I knew was wrong, but I did it anyway because I wanted to get something out of it. In this case, I was tempted to lie to my teacher about my grade on a test, because I knew if I told the truth I wouldn't get a good grade. According to Kant's moral philosophy, this was wrong because it goes against the Formula of Universal Law, which states that one must act only on those maxims that one could will as a universal law (i.e., that everyone should act in the same way). In this situation, it would not be acceptable for everyone to lie to their teacher about their grades. Additionally, it goes against the Formula of Humanity as an End in Itself, which states that one must always treat humanity, both in oneself and in others, as an end in itself and never as a means to an end. In this situation, I was using my teacher as a means to an end, which is not respectful of their autonomy and dignity.
