An example of a company that benefited through the competitive advantage that was gained through the implementation of digitization is called DoorDash. DoorDash is one of the famous food delivery companies in the U.S. Before, the existence of modern digitized food ordering/ food delivery technology, people had to order the food either in person or on the phone, then customers had to physically wait inside the restaurant. However, with the popularity of new food ordering applications (DoorDash, Uber eats, etc). And now, people can stay at home, order the food via the applications on their phone/devices and just wait for the food to be delivered. So, with advanced technology, people stay home and enjoy the food safely under the COVID-19, and the food delivery applications are improving day by day.
