(1) Hello everyone!

My name is Eric Steidle and I am 29. My family and I live in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Currently I am active duty Air Force. My job is to build and maintain structures on base at home and while deployed. I enjoy the hands on work and seeing the things we have built being used and enjoyed.

I grew up in southern California where I met my wife. We have a daughter who just started the third grade. The beach and the snow is where some of my favorite hobbies are. Skiing, surfing, and just hanging out with my family mean the most to me. In North Dakota we get a lot of snow, but there are no mountains around us, so skiing is a few hours away. We spend our time fishing and hiking all year round. Ice fishing is a lot more fun than it sounds. We have indoor hobbies from movie night to making crafts. My daughter loves to paint and she gets that from her mom. I enjoy seeing the paintings all over the fridge. Any chance we get we will travel. My favorite trips are hands down cruises in the Caribbean. We have been on several. Europe is my wife's favorite place and wants to go back as soon as possible. My daughter is beyond excited to go to Disneyland any chance she gets. I am going back to school to finish this BA in Management. It's been a while since I have been in college. The last class I took was in 2016 for my associates in Welding Technology. I enjoy math (I have to my Mom is a math teacher) more than any other subject. I have never taken a statistics class and hope to learn something new.

(2) Halo Class, My name is Geovanny Ruiz, I currently live in Massachusetts, and I can't wait to PCS out of here by the way. I am Marine, I have been serving this great nation for over 13 years now. I am currently an Inspector & Instructor at a Marine Corps Reserve Unit. Towards the end of next year, I intend to get orders to move somewhere near the Southwest of the United States. Souther California would be preferable. I really don't know what type of job I would do once I retire from the Military. I am thinking about switching my degree from management to a degree in accounting. I believe maybe working for the IRS might be interesting. I would love if I could get a job teleworking. I love the freedom that it provides. In regard to my personal life, I am married, and I have three daughters which I adore to death. I love watching and playing soccer. All three of my little girls currently play soccer and I would love the opportunity to be their coach at some point in time. I also love to play strategy games on my computer. I also love to watch documentaries on science and history. I can sit on the couch for hours and watch documentaries. I am taking this course because it is a requirement for the current degree that I am pursuing, but I also believe it will give me skills that will be useful in both my personal and professional life.
