. Round your answers to 4 decimal places 1. Listed below are weights (grams) from a simple random sample of "wheat" pennies. U.S. Mint specifications now require a mean of 2.5 g for weights of pennies. Use a 0.10 significance level to test the claim that wheat pennies are manufactured so that their mean weight is 2.5g. Does the Mint specification appear to be met? 2.5034 2.5828 2.4798 2.3823 2.5264 2.4232 2.5135 2.4870 2.4927 2.5047 a. Ho: Ha: b. level of significance: test-statistic (t or z test): tail of distribution: c. Decision Rule d. Computation e. Decision f. Conclusion2. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) had been considered to induce obesity in rodents and mice. In line with this, a study was conducted to determine the effect of the amount of MSG in the body-weight of mouse. A total of 14 experimental mice were used in the study. The first set of seven mice received an amount of 5 mg MSG/body-weight while the other set of seven mice received an amount of 15 mg MSG/body-weight of MSG. The initial weight of mice and weight two weeks after injection of MSG were observed. The observations are summarized in the tables below. Table 1. Weights of Mice Injected with 5 mg Table 2.
