You have the option to complete a creative project that is grounded in a theme (or a few themes) from the course. If you choose to do this, your project must be accompanied by an artist's statement (no more than 1.5 pages) which is a brief description of your work and how it encapsulates the philosophical idea that you were thinking about. In the past, students have done paintings, series of poems, photography projects, songs, dioramas, etc. Be creative as you want! You will be assessed on three things: Relevance Does your project relate to a topic from the class in a coherent way? For example, if you chose to write a series of three poems do they relate to a particular topic in the course in a discernible way? Effort Is it clear that you had a vision and then actually put in effort to see that vision through? This does not mean that your work has to be perfect!
