A pilot who works for a small air cargo company decides he would like to post a video to Snapchat showing him flying under a bridge in the Pilatus PC-24 that he flies for the company. As he approaches the bridge, the phone slips out of his hand and falls on the floor of the cockpit. He looks down at the floor to locate the phone, misjudges his distance, and hits the bridge, engulfing a car on the bridge in the fireball. The family of the woman in the car wants to sue the cargo company. Is the pilot's employer liable in this case? Explain.
