Precious Penny soon learns from Terrible Tanya that her father told Tanya not to buy any more cookies from Penny. Penny is furious and says she will not make her cookie selling goal and will not be able to earn a trip to Disney World with the rest of the top sellers. Dave promises Penny that he will pay for her trip to Disney World if she stops selling cookies to Tanya. He does not tell her why she had to stop selling cookies to Tanya. When the sales season ends and the time to book the trip begins, Dave has not paid for Penny's trip.
