Publix Supermarket's President Kevin Murphy has employed you as a consultant to assess the company's overall situation and recommend a set of actions to improve the company's prospects. Please prepare a report of no more than seven pages for Mr Murphy identifying the 3-4 top priority issues that the company's management should address and the actions you believe he must initiate to address these issues and preserve Publix as a dominant firm in the industry, both in terms of market share and profitability. Your report should contain detailed and convincing reasons supporting each of your recommendations. The support offered for each of your recommendations must be based on conclusions drawn from applying the concepts and analytical tools found in this module regarding strategic moves that may be suitable for Publix.
