Pretend you are in an interview. How would you answer the following questions, making sure that you answer the questions with the employers needs in mind. Your answers should make a news producer want to hire you, above all others, for the position.

1. Tell me about yourself? (Talk about why you would be good fit for the job and the company. Every answer to each of the questions should be about how your skills fit the job.)

2. Why did you choose to apply for this job? (What, specifically, is it about this job that made you want to apply?)

3. Where do you see yourself in five years? (Talk about your career within the company, or your goals/aspirations. Be careful not to come across as someone who is hungry for advancement too quickly. This can make an employer feel like you are using this particular job just as a stepping stone.)

4. What are your strengths and weaknesses? (These should be skills that fit the job. On the weakness you should explain how you are successfully developing yourself to turn it into a strength.)

5. Tell me about your leadership skills? (This can be any type of leadership that you have demonstrated at work, in school, in church, groups, clubs, organizations, etc.)

6. Have you ever supervised anyone? (This can be any groups or organizations)

7. Discuss what steps you take to you make important decisions?

8. What did you like the best about your last job and what did you like the least? (Be specific)

9. What was the best decision you ever made? What were the alternatives you could have made and how did you make the final decision? (Make sure to answer all parts of the questions)

10. How did you prepare for this interview? (I want to know that you researched the company and give a couple of facts that prove you did the research.)

11. Tell me about a situation in which you had to deal with a difficult customer/client/person and how did you handle it?

12. Tell me about a time in which you worked with a group and describe to me the positive and negative aspects of this group. (Describe what you would do to seek the perspectives and opinions of all group members and what you would do to achieve consensus among the group members.)

13. Describe your management style.

14. Why should I hire you instead of the other candidates for this job? (What makes you stand out from all the other candidates?)

15. Describe how you handle conflict.
