Individually, review the documents below in preparation for this component of the Acquisition Planning Exercise. (15 minutes) a. Previous artifacts that have cost, market, and pricing information (e.g.: Current Strategy Review Summary, 105S Market Research artifact, IGCE, DoD/NASA Incentive Contracting Guide) b. Letter and attached documents (IGCE breakout and accompanying DD 1547) provided by the 1055 Cost Analyst 2. Download the CPIF Pricing Tool (Resources tab in Blackboard) and utilize the artifacts and information noted above to recommend the pricing elements below for the services that are being considered as CPIF CLINS. Provide this information in the CPIF Pricing Tool and make note of it for your briefing slides. (45 minutes) a. Minimum Fee b. Maximum Fee c. Proposed Over and Under Share Ratios d. Cost at Minimum Fee e. Cost at Maximum Fee f. Rationale and Business Case notes (to be added to the "Analyst Notes" block in the CPIF Pricing Tool) The "rationale and business case notes" that each team documents to defend their position is the most important element of the CPIF Pricing Tool. Teams should populate the "Analyst Notes" block with information explaining how they arrived at their proposed cost elements and why they believe they are appropriate. Once your team has populated the CPIF Pricing Tool with the relevant information, make sure to also include the proposed cost elements and a brief synopsis of the Analyst Notes in your briefing slides using the template provided
